Infinity Ward has been keeping mum about what Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer offers, so the latest leaks share information about the number of Modern Warfare 2 maps that will be available when the game launches in Oct.
16 Modern Warfare 2 maps available at launch
According to @TheGhostOfHope, Modern Warfare 2’s launch will include 16 6-versus-six maps. This number is significantly higher than many previous releases, but it’s still four less than Vanguard, which had 20 battlegrounds.
