Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End is a video game that was developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. The fourth entry of the Uncharted franchise was released on PlayStation 4 in May 2016.
Nathan Drake is a retired treasure hunter who’s coaxed by his estranged brother Sam out of retirement to find Henry Avery’s lost treasure. He also battles a group of mercenaries led by Rafe Adler, Nadine, and Nadine, all after the treasure. This is the final game in the Nathan Drake series.
After Amy Hennig, Justin Richmond and other creative directors left Naughty Dog in 2014 development was significantly hampered. Bruce Straley, Neil Druckmann, and others who directed The Last of Us were brought in to replace them.
Many elements of the game were scrapped, or completely redesigned. They wanted to include elements from open-world gaming, such as vehicles and bigger levels. The stealth gameplay was made realistic and the multiplayer modes were upgraded to include competitive and cooperative play.
