Playground Games is perhaps most well-known for its Forza Horizon series of games. The studio then went silent for a long time, raising concerns that the game was in development hell. Although it doesn’t do much to alleviate those fears, Fernadez does offer some insight into the studio’s workings.

Be patient

Although the new Fable was first announced in 2020, we haven’t heard from it since, leading to rumours that the game may be having difficulties in development. We saw a CGI trailer with cinematic effects but no gameplay footage or release window. It has been more than 12 years since the last Fable title was released. Playground hopes to bring the series a fresh start, and people have been waiting for updates.
