It is strange to think that Xenoblade Chronicles was first published in 2010. This action RPG series is one of Nintendo’s newest franchises. Monolith Soft created it. It marks the third chapter in the Xeno metaseries following Xenogears, Xenosaga.

Originally released on the Nintendo Wii, Xenoblade Chronicles was brought to the Switch in 2020. It joined Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (the sequel) and Torna – The Golden Country. A third entry is now in the works.

Before, there had been rumors about Xenoblade Chronicles 3, but the February 2022 Nintendo Direct confirmed them. Here’s all we know so far about the sequel.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 – Latest News

The Xenoblade Chronicles 3 file size was estimated at around 15GB. This makes it the biggest mainline Xenoblade Chronicles title yet on the Nintendo Switch. It’s not the largest, but it still has just half the storage space as a launch console.

The Xenoblade Chronicles 3 release dates have been moved to 29 July 2022. This is more than a month before the original September release date. A new trailer confirmed this, showing off the earlier launch date and giving fans another look at squad-based combat and giant boss battles. The wait for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is now much shorter.
