The thoughts of Wolverine drift off to an unremembered past. The action starts in Angola, Africa, chronicling the task that Team X, led by Col. Stryker and his troops: Logan/Wolverine, Logan’s younger brother Victor Creed, Wade Wilson, John Wraith, and Nord to find the village where they have discovered the key to an important mineral resource (implied as the mineral adamantium).
If Raven is their CIA contact, protests against Stryker attacking innocent civilians Stryker demands her termination and Wraith seems to kill her. Team X locates the village but the people refuse to cooperate, and Stryker is threatening their life. Logan confronts his colleagues however he is swiftly subdued and killed before he’s able to prevent the slaughter of the villager.
