WWE has wrapped up a successful SummerSlam Pay-Per-View, the first under the new helm of Triple H. We hope this will carry on into WWE’s first major UK event at Clash at the Castle in September.
It is known that Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns will be the main event, with the WWE Universal Championship at stake. Since the first show’s announcement, this match has been widely speculated. Some even believe that it will be Drew McIntyre’s major career win and the end of Roman Reigns’ iconic title reign.
We need to have a supporting cast for a show like a Clash at the Castle, which has had very few confirmed performers so far. Let’s now look at five matches we would like to see in Cardiff, to make it the event UK fans have been waiting for.
Due to Riddle’s kayfabe injury, the match originally scheduled for SummerSlam was canceled. Seth Rollins vs Riddle was the mid-card draw. The Original Bro made his presence known during the show by emerging from the crowd and calling out “The Visionary”. Rollins stepped into the ring, leaving Riddle exposed after yet another horrifying Curb Stomp.
This feud seems to be continuing into August. What better place than Wales for these two amazing wrestlers? I was looking forward to these two amazing singles bouts. Seeing them live in action will only add to the excitement.
Riddle should be rewarded with a major win in this feud. This will help him prepare for the WWE Championship or his partner Randy Orton’s recovery from injury. Riddle would benefit from the support of a large crowd in Cardiff.
