The Outlands’ New Apex Legends Stories Reveal Vantage
Respawn Entertainment is releasing spoilers for the following Legend with just a few weeks remaining in Apex legends’ Season 13. Named “Vantage,” the name and abilities of this character were leaked months earlier. It is still unknown who this character is and her motivations for joining the Apex Games. Vantage has finally been revealed in a new Story from the Outlands.

The trailer reveals that Vantage was named after a mysteriously crashed uncrewed spacecraft on her planet. Despite being told not to, she enters the vessel and discovers her mother is an escapee prisoner. The ship’s A.I. attacks Vantage. The ship’s A.I. assumes that Vantage is her mother based on their DNA. This causes the prisoner transport to slide down a ravine. Vantage’s mother sends a distress signal to save her daughter. There is no medical equipment on the planet. Vantage will most likely be taken into the Apex Games, where she will be held captive under her mother’s assumption.
Although this vignette does not focus on Vantage’s abilities, it gives us a good idea of her Passive, Tactical and Ultimate. Vantage’s Passive, also known as Sniper Kit at the moment, provides additional information when she targets a target using a long-range weapon. The legend’s name will be revealed, along with their shield rarity and distance. You also get information about the team size. Echo Launch is her Tactical, which launches her companion into a designated place. The echo can be moved by pressing the Tactical button once more. Vantage can also be teleported to her location by pressing the button down.
Vantage’s Ultimate allows her to pull out a custom-made sniper rifle. It scans enemies and boosts your damage and your squad by 15% to the target. This buff is only available if the sniper rifle hits an enemy. The damage will be doubled for each subsequent hit. These abilities were leaked so that they may be modified or tweaked before her release.
