Survivalist: Invisible Strain offers an open-ended, free game that focuses on building a community following the fall of civilization. You can make survivors respect or fear your character. Keep them safe from looters and zombies by keeping them warm and fed. To reach your goals, you can use stealth, weapons or words. It currently uses a randomly generated world with a story mode that will be added later. Every living character in the world has a name and a personality trait.
They will remember what you did and how it affected their moods and opinions of you. They live their own lives, which include gossiping, eating and sleeping, keeping warm, working, fighting, and keeping warm. You can choose to do the quests or not. If they respect you enough, they can recruit you. To slow down your enemies, you can target their legs or hit their heads to do more damage. Your enemies can also dodge and block melee combat. Different characters have different skill levels and can be levelled up to increase their archery, firearms, or hand-to-hand abilities.

Recruiting your followers will need somewhere to sleep, food, and warmth. You can cut down trees and mine rocks. Also, you can look for other resources in abandoned towns scattered around the map.
For zombies and raiders, set pit traps or rabbit traps. Your community can be assigned different roles, such as Farmer or Chef Arrow Crafter. You can create a self-sufficient, well-defended settlement that produces its bullets over time. You can customize your character’s appearance, clothes, equipment, skills and personality when you start a new game. You can also hit the randomize key until you find something interesting. Each game will feature a different map with roads, rivers and abandoned towns.
