About
Super Meat Boy is an action platformer that challenges you to play as an animated cube made of meat. Your goal is to save your girlfriend (who happens to be made of bandages), from an evil fetus inside a jar dressed in a suit.
Our meaty hero will jump from walls, across seas of buzzsaws, through crumbling caves, and into pools of old needles. To save his damsel in need, he will sacrifice his own life. Super Meat Boy takes the classic NES games like Mega Man 2, Ghost and Goblins, and Super Mario Bros. 2 (The Japanese version) and streams them down to the simple, straightforward twitch reflex platforming.
Meat boy will be dragged through haunted hospitals and salt factories, as well as hell itself, by increasing in difficulty from difficult to soul-crushing SMB. SMB offers 300+ single-player levels, an editor, tons of unlockable secrets, warp zones, and hidden characters.
