Steelrising: Elemental Alchemy Book – Weapons and Tips

Steelrising by Spiders places you in the body of an alchemical automaton called Aegis. You will uncover the secrets behind the murderous army clockwork robots who have overtaken Paris as Queen Marie Antoinette’s servant. Although Elemental Alchemy is central to the story of Steelrising’s origins, it is also the most difficult stat to construct around.

Elemental Alchemy is a complex topic that requires you to keep track of your stats on your body and in the cloud. You also need to know what elements are best for each situation. This guide will explain how Elemental Alchemy functions as a Steelrising stat. It is the most difficult to build around.

The Elemental Alchemy Stat

Elemental Alchemy gives you the best value for your point investment in Vestals across Paris. Elemental Alchemy will give you more attack power for any weapon that uses it, even if the gear isn’t equipped. You also get a 4% increase in resistance to all elements in the game for every defense point you make. You won’t be able to use standard or specific attacks without an elemental edge. You’ll need to balance Aegis between Agility and Power, or lean into one for good damage that doesn’t require Elemental power.

Building around Elemental Alchemy may require you to walk a fine line between the basic attack stats in order to ensure that you have the right weapon for the occasion. Your Engineering stat will increase your Affliction multiplier so you’ll want to be aware of it. Your Affliction multiplier is a way to increase the damage and effects of your elemental debuffs. These happen when you hit enemies that have elemental damage. This doesn’t explain anything in the game.

The fire debuff can cause damage over time, while the fulmination (electricity debuff increases damage taken while afflicted) freezes enemies solid. Elemental Alchemy is a devastating force that can be used to obliterate boss encounters and stacks up. It is important to ensure you are not using the same element as the enemy. However, it will take twice the number of hits to apply your debuff to them.

Elemental Alchemy Weapons

You should only use weapons that are compatible with Elemental Alchemy. The Fire Chain is a great complement to the Charleville 1789 Shield Musket, as it hits with fire while the other hits with water. To infuse attacks with Elemental Alchemy weapons, they must also use a special attack to recharge their elemental power. These attacks are important because they make Aegis difficult to hit. Projectile weapons are the exception to this rule. They simply do the right amount of elemental damage.

You’ll find a lot of weapons that you can experiment with using your Elemental Alchemy build. While many of these weapons are very useful and can cause a lot of damage, it all depends on your secondary focus of Agility or Power. Frost Fans and Franklin Claws are good options for agility weapons. They can quickly put fulmination debuffs on your foes to cause massive damage. The combination of Fire Chain, Charleville Shield Musket and Frost Fans will freeze enemies and then deal out tons of burning damage.

Complementing Elemental Alchemy

Elemental Alchemy is in dire need of help because the stat lacks in many practical areas. All armor Aegis should aim to increase either the armor value or endurance meter of the wearer. For increased health, you’ll want to equip Endurance modules for an extended Endurance time, Efficient ventilation modules to continue moving once your Endurance meter has been depleted.

Pay attention to which weapons you are drawn towards. You should increase your Immobilisation stat by using modules if Agility weapons are your preferred weapon. If you use a lot Power weapons, increase your Impact stat. These stats are crucial for each build and will determine how you approach combat. Explanations can be found in the respective guides. Your Engineering stat is essential to increasing your Affliction multiplier.

Elemental Alchemy in Steelrising is the most difficult method to create Aegis. You’ll be switching between weapons and investing your stat points carefully. Additionally, you will have to deal with enemies in unique ways depending on your elemental afflictions. Once you are familiar with how Elemental Alchemy works, you will be able to defeat bosses easily by building around it. Although it is the most difficult to learn, Elemental Alchemy has proven its worth in some of the most difficult fights in the game.
