Sasha Banks & Naomi Walk Out Of WWE RAW
Sasha Banks, Naomi, and Naomi, WWE’s Women’s Tag Champions, staged a walkout during last night’s episode. This left the writers scrambling to get to the main event. Banks and Naomi were initially scheduled to compete in a six-pack main event, with the winner getting a shot at the RAW Women’s Championship. Due to disagreements between “The Boss” and the actual Boss, WWE, Vinnie Mac, and Sasha decided to give up the titles and leave the show.
According to reports, the pair were unhappy with being forced to appear alongside two unsafe wrestlers. However, they had worked together before and were pitching the idea to work with Nikki ASH or Doudrop at the upcoming Hell in a Cell pay per view. So, I guess that they are referring to Doudrop and Nikki ASH.
The backstage staff had to rush to put together new plans. This included changing the main event to just a one-on-1 match between Becky Lynch (who won) and Asuka (who won). Corey Graves called the antics ‘unprofessional’ throughout the evening, hinting at the heat building on the Tag champs after this show.
WWE has since stated the situation. They maintain that this was a poor show for the Tag champions.
