Every page is filled with thrills, heroes, and lots of Fun. After school, the classroom becomes “The Legend of Wright,” an RPG created by Kenta, a young game designer. You’ll discover that the game is more than a “just” RPG as you work your way through it, which Kenta created from sketches, cardboard, and stationery. RPG Time, despite its name, offers everything you need, from adventure and bullet hell to turn-based combats. This is a treasure trove of Fun and adventure, and you never know what Kenta might find next. This game will make your afternoon routine a lot more interesting!

RPG Time was first imagined 15 years ago and then developed over nine years. It has received numerous awards from various game festivals worldwide, including BitSummit, Taipei Game Show and Tokyo Game Show. It is best to think of the puzzles as a distraction rather than a challenge. To see the endings for each character, you must play it at least five times. Long, slow ladder-climbing animations can slow down sections to a tedious crawl.
It isn’t enjoyable to see padding being used to extend playtime artificially. Platforming is challenging because of the floaty controls. Although storytelling has its moments, it can sometimes feel a little shallow. Worst, you will have to switch between characters and move them one by one, which is a problem because you are responsible for three characters. This becomes tedious very quickly and is a real hassle. I don’t know why there wasn’t an option to control them all at once, but it would have helped reduce the backtracking that slowed down the game’s pace.
