Gameplay
“Slugcat”, the main character in the game, is known as the “slugcat”. It uses ricks & spears to survive in the 2D world. It’s on the run in search of its family, and now it must face hostile environments alone.
You can freely explore the world through the pipes and passages that run through 1600 static screens. Each one is filled with random enemies. Hibernation, a feature in the game that resets your day cycle and saves you progress, is available.
The player may not be able to reach the hibernation point by the end of the day. A torrential downpour could result in heavy flooding and death. If the player has not eaten enough food, he will not be permitted to hibernate. If the player dies, the slugcat will return to hibernation at the last point saved.
