PlayStation’s new subscription service, PlayStation Plus, is now available. While its future is uncertain, the huge selection of games that the service offers is undisputed. There are many options for you to choose from, including recent AAA titles and forgotten gems from older consoles.

There are over 700 titles available, so some really great experiences could be lost in the sea of options. We have scanned through the vast catalog and identified 10 titles that might have been overlooked or lost in the shuffle over the years. These titles are available across all console generations and subscription levels. We will also indicate which PlayStation Plus level each game is available on so that you are aware of what your subscription level allows you to get. Hidden gems that are ranked against each other could lead to diminishing ones on the lower levels. 1. Astebreed – PS Plus Extra

Astebreed, an arcade-style, lightning-fast bullet hell game, was first released in 2015.

You’ll be piloting your mech behind enemy lines as you fight against futuristic enemies from all directions. This may seem like the most basic definition for a bullet hell, but Astebreed is different. It features inventive enemy encounters and focuses on using homing guns to create massive combos as long as possible. Bullet hell games are all about positioning and the layout of your enemies. However, Astebreed offers a fresh approach to the traditional formula and changes the way you view your encounters.

Astebreed can also be played in a very short time, taking anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a half depending on your skill and hustle. You may want to replay higher difficulties or a mission-based scoring system, but you will still get your money’s worth if you only take one flight through Astebreed. This is a mecha story with a lot of action and white-knuckle combat.
