NICKMERCS and Dr. Disrespect Tear into “Awful Operation Monarch Event
Operation Monarch is a limited-time Warzone event (LTE) that’s well underway. Players are sharing their opinions on the event as they drop onto Caldera to face Godzilla and Kong.
It wasn’t long before Dr. Disrespect and Nick “NICKMERCS”, Kolcheff, voiced their opinions about Operation Monarch. Fans of streamers aren’t surprised by their opinions on Call of Duty’s battle royale.
FaZe Clan member, and two-time claimant of the event, is like many others.
NICKMERCS: Operation Monarch is Awful
NICKMERCS dropped onto Caldera and quickly called the Godzilla versus Kong event “awful” much to the delight of Raven Software’s most recent update. The streamer tweeted, “This Warzone Event is terrible.” “Maybe we’re spoiled by Fortnite, but dam bro. King Kong and Godzilla are not even allowed to fight. After experiencing the event, Doc was in agreement. The streamer gives Operation Monarch a score of 2.2 out of 10 in a May 11 tweet. “What am I…9 years old?” The streamer agrees.
These are not the only people who don’t like the LTE. Some fans wonder why this event even takes place, given the lack of cutscenes and fights between Godzilla and Kong.
Operation Monarch was anticipated to be a huge success. Many hoped it would rival Fortnite’s in-game spectacles. The latest Warzone event did not meet expectations, much to the dismay of players who were hoping for an all-out war between these titans.
Let’s hope Raven Software has one more spectacle before the focus turns to Warzone2.
