Apex Legends Season 13’s latest trailer has been posted online. It features a new hero, changes to Storm Point maps, and some brand-new gameplay additions. On Monday, the developers uploaded the trailer to YouTube. They also revealed the new features and named the game Apex Legends: Saviours.

Apex Legends’ new season is almost here. The game’s official channel has uploaded a new trailer that shows off some amazing new additions, including Newcastle, a new hero. The shield on the new hero looks like it’s designed around a tank-defensive gameplay style.
The trailer showed off IMC Armories, a new gameplay mechanic. These mini-challenges are self-contained and reward you with powerful weapons and loot. Storm Point has been updated with new features and ranked play. Apex Legends: The 13th season of Apex Legends is set to be a great season for players.

Apex Legends Season 13 Newcastle
Newcastle is the new hero, a hyper-defensive legend who can activate and passively keep his team alive for a longer time than normal. For more information on his abilities, you can see the full list below.
- Tactical Ability – Mobile Shield – Newcastle’s tactical ability creates a deployable shield that can change its position even after it’s been summoned. If used properly, this ability can give you incredible versatility on the battlefield.
- Passive Ability: Retrieve the Wounded This skill allows Newcastle to save his fellow teammates. Newcastle will automatically protect himself and his friend when he’s actually helping a teammate.
- Ultimate Ability – Castle Wall Newcastle’s ult uses his giant shield to build a fortress that protects him as well as his team, possibly turning the tide in battle. The ult also starts with a leap that sends him across the battlefield. If you aim it at friendlies, you will get a jump boost during the opening of the ult ability. This makes sense as Newcastle is a legendary support/defensive player.
Newcastle will be a fantastic addition to the game. This character is hot off the heels of the season that brought Mad Maggie into the mix. She’s an iconic character with many connections to Apex Legends history. After last year’s huge update, the newcomer will have much to live up to.
Apex Legends Season 13 Release Date
All of this news should get you excited. We don’t need to wait long to get our hands on the new content. The trailer showed that Season 13 will be released on May 10, just one week after the trailer was released by Respawn. You can expect a major update on Tuesday. If you have regular sessions, make sure your team is aware of what’s coming.
