About Hotline Miami
Hotline Miami, a top-down shooter videogame by Jonatan Wedin and Dennis Wedin (collectively known as Dennaton Games). Hotline Miami is broken into chapters that are further broken down into stages. “Jacket” awakes in his apartment to listen to mysterious messages on his answering machine. These messages instruct Jacket to do an arbitrary task at a specific location. In each case, it is interpreted as a metaphor for killing all people at the location (e.g. “giving VIPs at hotels a great stay” or taking care of pest infestations). Each animal mask, with the exception of Richard, which is the default rooster’s mask, provides a unique benefit such as faster movement and a starting weapon.
