Many Netflix users were obsessed with the explosive finale of season 4 of Stranger Things. It seems like they have finally found the next big thing.

Twinfinite reported that a scary horror film from Taiwan called Incantation had taken the internet by storm. Its release on Netflix on July 8th saw it rise to the top of the streaming site’s charts. It’s currently the third most watched non-English film globally, with more than 10 million hours of viewing.

This film falls under the horror sub-genre of found footage (think the Blair Witch Project) and has horrified viewers all over the globe. Some people were worried that the film’s incantation chants could curse them, but they won’t.

Tweeted @_marklouiss, “Watching Incantation alone was the worst decision in my life.” asked @v3gana, “Is Incantation a real thing? I’m scared like hell now.” “Bruh, I was scared I might be cursed because everything felt real and scary. @graeswiftie13 wrote, “I’m so glad everything isn’t real.”
