Overview GROUND BRANCH
GROUND BRANCH will let you play the elite paramilitary unit of the CIA’s Special Activities Center/ Special Operations Group (SAC/SOG) and guide other special operations forces in challenging, deniable ops worldwide. GROUND BRANCH is a tactical realism game that is deliberate, unforgiving, and highly calculated. Powered by Epic’s Unreal Engine 4, GB is a tactical shooter that puts the “tactical” back into “tactical shooting.” There are no compromises.
GROUND BRANCH’s True First-Person System enhances immersion in the world and awareness of your surroundings. It creates zero separation between your view and your character’s physical presence within the environment. Is your foot sticking out from the cover? It’s better to tuck it in. Enemies might be able to see it (and maybe shoot it), but only if they have clear lines of sight and their muzzle is unobstructed. Cameras are placed in front of the eyes of the character, and bullets come from the weapon’s muzzle. GROUND BRANCH is all about what you see.
GROUND BRANCH Pre Installed
You can customize your character and gear, from the basic appearance to weapon platform customization and individual pouches and attachment placement. Your loadout choices will determine what you bring to your mission, with real consequences. Too much equipment can impact your character’s performance and speed. A scope placed too far forward on the rail will make your sight picture too small. If your rifle is too long, it may cause weapon collisions.
GROUND BRANCH’s harsh gameplay demands careful teamwork, whether in an 8-player coop mode or 8v8 adversarial mode. You can gather your friends and practice in fully-equipped training areas that include shooting ranges, customizable kill houses, and dynamic targets. Integrated VOIP allows for full communication without the need to use third-party software. Text chat and prerecorded voice messages (commo rose-style) are also available for the mic-less or shy.
