God of War: Ragnarok Collector’s and Jotnar edition Pricing, Where to Order
Santa Monica Studio and Sony announced the release date and special editions of God of War last week. However, they failed to mention an important detail: How much does the large box cost? Pre-orders are now live. Prices for both the Collector’s and Jotnar Edition are pretty high.
You can still buy God of War Ragnarok’sspecial editions in some stores as of this writing. However, they are sold out elsewhere. The Collector’s Edition costs $199.99 and includes a steel book and digital game copy. It also contains two Vanir Twins carved figures and a replica of Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir (16 inches). The Jotnar Edition includes all the above except that the dice set is unique. It also includes a 7-inch vinyl record that contains two songs from Ragnarok’s soundtrack, as well as a pin set and a ring. The price tag is a substantial $259.99.

All that money, and there’s not a disc to go inside of the steel book. However, it was still bought, as I am a clown with no self-control.
God of War Ragnarok will be available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 starting November 9. It is the sequel to the 2018 God of War and will close the Norse arc, which saw Kratos and Atreus fighting against the gods of Norse mythology. The special editions include Thor’s Hammer, which you can guess will make the god of Thunder a major villain in the game.
