Forts is a 2D strategy video game that was published by Australian studio EarthWork Games. It was released on April 19, 2017. Forts were developed in March 2003 as an original game based on bridge building games.
Forts were sold 120,000 copies by October 6, 2017. Forts is a game where the player constructs a base and defends it. Then, he or she acquires weapons through tech trees to try to destroy the opponent’s reactor.

This update adds two new tech buildings that give commanders access to six new weapons and a variety of strategies. The Armoury unlocks Flak weapons to clear enemy projectiles from the sky, and EMP rockets that can power down enemy technology.
oth of these weapons can be upgraded to the Shotgun or twin Rocket launchers, respectively. The original Cannon can now be found in the Munitions Plant. It is joined by its little brother, the 20mm Cannon, which is burst-firing.
Two beam weapons are now produced by the Factory: the classic Plasma Laser, and the Fireteam. These weapons are great for penetrating fortifications in order to ignite them from the inside.
Tons of guns include new AI forts that are brimming with new weapons, as well as a Mod Selection feature that allows for several new game types such as Rapid Fire, Zero Gravity, and Fast Build.
Truce mods are also included. These allow players to build their forts peacefully over a time period that varies, before blasting each other into oblivion. Forts owners get all this and the Steam Workshop integration previously released.
This increases the potential for fort building. You can build an armoured fort and arm it in real-time. You will feel satisfied when your fort falls.
