Fire Force: Season 3 – Release Date, Story and What You Should Know
Atsushi Ohkubo’s adrenaline-fueled Fire Force is one of the greatest successes in modern anime culture. And recently, with the manga hitting the landmark milestone of 20,000,000 copies sold worldwide, the demand for Fire Force Season 3 has never fallen lower. The official Twitter account has confirmed that there will be a third season.
The Fire Force manga ended its seven-year-long run earlier this year. The manga series has 34 volumes and is a worldwide bestseller, just like Ohkubo’s Soul Eater manga series. It’s safe to say that Fire Force will continue to be available as the source material.
Fire Force: Season 3 has been officially greenlit. Here’s a quick overview of everything we know, including when it will be released.
When is Fire Force Season 3 Out?
Unfortunately, no release date was announced for Fire Force: Season 3. Considering how quickly the anime was renewed, it is likely that the third season will air either in the fall or summer of 2023.
The first two seasons of Fire Force had 24 episodes, and the second ended in chapter 174. Therefore, the remaining chapters of Fire Force should have about the same amount of attacks. The publisher, Kodansha, may also want to end the anime with a movie. This is a smart move, considering the large fan base.
Fire Force: Season 3 has not yet been shown, but we believe that David Production, the animation studio responsible for the first two seasons, will be again directing the next instalment. David Production is best known for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. It was praised for its bright animation style and soothing sound design for Fire Force. Although we don’t know if the studio will return to the project, it would be a relief for anime fans waiting.
What is Fire Force Season 3 about? (Spoiler Alert)
Captain Hague, Special Fire Force Company 4, was killed in the second season of Fire Force. Most Fire Force companies are now in chaos and trying to figure out strategies to combat the White-Clad threat.
Obi’s Rescue, the sixteenth arc in the manga series, will be the start of the third season. White-Clad members pretend to be soldiers from the Tokyo Army and arrest Captain Obi, Company 8. The White-Clad intend to make Obi an Infernal. However, Shinra discovers that Obi has an Adella Link and immediately sets off with Joker to bring Obi home.
Although we don’t know if Fire Force Season 3 will be its final season, it is gratifying to know that the franchise will return with a more vibrant entry.
