  • In adventure mode, players no longer need to complete the Campaign.
  • The default difficulty selection has been updated to make it consistent across all platforms and players. All players now have access to Normal-Torment 6 difficulties automatically. Players can also access Torment 7-Torment 16 after reaching level 70.
  • Uber Boss Realms automatically close after 60 seconds. You can now open additional portals to the Uber Boss Realm in one game session.
83% reduction in the Experience awarded for completing an Echoing
  • Nightmare.

Developer’s note: As Echoing Nightmares moves from a Seasonal feature to a permanent one, we felt it necessary to reduce the Experience rewards. This ensured that players didn’t feel obligated to spend as much time in the activity. Echoing Nightmares will be an enjoyable bonus activity that provides Augment material and loot. We have also made changes to Adventure mode, difficulty unlocks and other aspects of Diablo III. These will make it easier for new players to access the Diablo III experience on all platforms. We also improved Uber Boss flow to allow players and groups to kill multiple bosses at once without needing remakes.

Modifications to Items

  • Guardian’s Jeopardy (3-piece bonus): You get an additional 100% of your base Strength and Dexterity, Intelligence and Vitality attributes when you equip items.

Developer’s note: We have heard from players that the 3-piece Crafted sets had the most significant impact on itemization. So we are introducing another group to increase the choice.

Crusader

  • Armour of Akkhan (2-piece bonus). Judgment does not have a cooldown and has the effect of all runes.
rmor of Akkhan (4 piece bonus): Attacks by Phalanx Avatars decrease Akarat’s

  • Correction of the typo in Armor of Akkhan 4-piece bonus
  • Fixed a bug that allowed any attack, regardless of its type, to activate the 4-piece bonus to reduce Akarat’s Champion’s cooldown.
  • It fixed an issue that caused Akkhan’s 6-piece damage bonus to sometimes not work correctly with Phalanx Avatars.
  • To reduce visual clutter, I updated the visual effect of Phalanx Avatars Proccing Condemn.
  • The AI of Phalanx Avatars has been updated to prioritize targets around the player.
  • The Enforcer Legendary gem can now be used to benefit Phalanx Condemns by affixing “Increases Phalanx damage.”
  • Eternal union: Indefinitely increases the summoned Phalanx Bowmen’s and Bodyguard’s duration.

Developer’s note: The goal of the Armor of Akkhan redesign is to reduce the scope of the set and give it a distinct identity.

Necromancer

  • Rag’Oul’s Avatar (2-piece bonus). Blood Rush and Siphon Blood gain the effect of each rune. Your Life-spending capabilities no longer cost Essence.
  • It has fixed a bug that made the Siphon Blood-Power Shift rune damage bonus multiplicative.

Iron Rose: When you attack with Siphon Blood, there is a 100% chance of casting a Blood Nova. Your Death Nova deals 40% more damage after you have lost 10% of your maximum Life. This effect lasts for 60 seconds. This effect can stack up to 10 times.
  • Bloodtide Blade – Death Nova does 300-400% more damage to enemies within 25 yards. This includes up to 25 enemies.
  • Funerary Pick: Siphon blood drains blood from two additional targets. Each target will take 250-300% more damage with more than one target.
  • Otherwise, it will gain double the damage. Siphon Blood – Power Shift now gives a 20% bonus per stack to all skills.

Developer’s note: We were trying to reclaim Trag’Oul’s Avatar’s Blood Necromancer fantasy and make it more effective against single targets.

Wizard

  • Delsey’s Magnum Opus (2-piece bonus): Casting Arcane Orbs, Energy
  • Twisters, Magic Missiles, Shock Pulses, Spectral Blades, Electrocutes, or Arcane

  • Meteor Shower rune Mempo of Twilight is now available for all casted
  • Meteors. It deals 300-400% more damage.

Developer’s Note: Delsere’s Magnum Opus felt weak and clunky, which made it difficult to achieve the desired gameplay flow. We have simplified the playstyle to make it more enjoyable, allowing Wizards the feeling of being masters over their time. We’re looking at Tal Rasha’s Elements’ core and introducing a Meteor-based playstyle.

Monk

  • Inna’s mantra (6-piece bonus).: You can use the passive abilities of five runed
  • Mystic Allies to your advantage at all times. Your chosen Mystic Alley is created by attacking enemies. It lasts for 15 seconds and can be extended to up to 10 Mystic Aliens. Each Mystic Ally you can defeat increases the damage your Mystic Allies do by 900%.
  • Bindings to the Lesser Gods – Enemies that are hit by Cyclone Strike take 150-200% more damage from your Mystic Alley for five seconds. Split-Fire Allies get this bonus three times.

Developer’s note: Inna’s Mantra Monks have been riding high on the success waves for many seasons. It’s now time to bring in a nerf shark.
