Co-op, Random Enemy Mods Make Elden Ring a Delightfully Chaotic Battle Royale
Elden Ring does not support seamless four-player cooperative play in its vanilla state. However, there is finally a mod that will do what FromSoftware won’t. Souls series Modder LukeYui is well-known for his security add-ons such as Blue Sentinel. He released the beta version of Elden Ring overhaul that implements seamless co-op without any restrictions. As you can see, the Lands Between is thrown into chaos when they loosen their usual limits. But it’s done in the best way possible.
Nexus Mods launched today the beta for LukeYui’s seamless Elden Ring cooperative, and it is already a Twitch success. The expanded multiplayer options are an attractive enough feature on their own. However, on the streaming platform, players combine today’s multiplayer beta and other mods such as the thefifthmatt’s item or enemy randomizer. Instead of the Elden Ring running with your friends, you’ll get these highly entertaining scenarios that you can force your friends to join.
Most notable are the WayneRadioTV’s multiplayer brawls. These include one bizarre showdown at the beach between Elden Ring and Godfrey, alone Crucible Knight and Ancestor Spirit, and that one friend who makes bad decisions all the time. They describe the encounter as the most thrilling wrestling match in the world. It’s cleIt isto me now; Ancestor Spirit is here with a steel chair.
The whole thing was streamed live to more than a thousand viewers. It featured the squad facing the worst boss spawns and a desperate scramble among Grace sites. Even though it is comically horrible to see how these random multiplayer Elden Ring sessions go, sometimes things turn sour. WayneRadioTV and other streamers will experience some performance issues.
This happens more often, but at the 426 mark in WayneRadio’ssstream, too many enemies and bosses crowd together, so things become chug. The mods run quite smoothly, considering the chaos of bosses who were never meant to meet and assemble in one place. There, I don’ttuse the word “smooth” very often. It’s a game that works, but it’s only one huge, hellish Fight Club.
I am not interested in playing random scenarios with friends at this time, but you can still play regular Elden Ring without the misplaced enemies. LukeYui’ssseamless cooperative lets everyone play together or independently. It seems like a lot of fun, but it is a little more serious. You can move from the tutorial to your final boss in one session because your waypoints sync, the zone barriers are removed, and your waypoints synchronize. This removes the FromSoftware limitations that make Eldenring multiplayer feel like a boss tag team mode.
