Activision has published Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, a first-person shooter videogame.
Advanced Warfare is presented in a first-person shooter perspective, just like other Call of Duty titles. Advanced Warfare is different from other installments in that it does not have a traditional HUD (heads-up display) and instead relays all information to the player via holographic projections of the weapon. Other than the addition of ‘Exo’ movements, gunplay is unchanged. The Exoskeleton can perform these Exo movements, including sky jumping, boost, dash and dash. This is the first Call of Duty game to allow the player to choose between different types of conventional weaponry. The game has regular firearms but also allows for the use of laser and directed energy weapons, which each have their own attributes. Exo movements are not the only feature of the game. Exo Cloak allows players to become transparent and stealthy for a time.
Campaign This campaign is single-player and features Jack Mitchell as the playable character. The campaign uses pre-rendered scenes from Call of Duty: Black Ops II to help with the story. Each mission gives the player a number of upgrade points, which can be used for weapons or the Exo suit. You can upgrade your detection, armor, resistance and tactical abilities as well as a sprint, recoil and flinch, reload and quick aim. To upgrade the entire Exo upgrade system, you will need 22 points. The player’s performance in missions determines the number of points they receive. You can earn extra points by completing side missions, such as collecting the game’s collectible “Intel”. You can switch between different types of grenades. Each one has distinctly different abilities.
