Bungie Is Looking at “Major Changes” for Destiny 2’s Power System

Bungie, a developer of Destiny 2, recently announced Lightfall, an upcoming expansion. Bungie also stated in an interview that they are considering significant changes to the Power system. These changes will occur in 2023, and players expect to see “some strange experiments” next year.

Joe Blackburn, the game director, spoke to GamesRadar about how crafting was scary, but Power is “that many times 10”. He says that Power does some good things for the game but that Power is doing some terrible things to Destiny at the moment.

Blackburn did not give any details about what changes to expect. Still, he stated that Bungie would be conducting experiments to see it’st’s making the right decisions and listening to the community’s feedback.
