Cyberpunk 2077 now holds over half a million positive reviews on Steam!
Cyberpunk 2077 has proven itself as a comeback title in gaming, even despite CD Projekt RED’s ambitious title being initially met with mixed reception upon its launch in 2077. Now in 2023 we celebrate reaching more than half a million positive reviews on Steam for Cyberpunk 2077!
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will serve as Cyberpunk 2077’s sole expansion; CDPR devs will instead shift their attention toward The Witcher series’ next chapter. But that won’t mark an end to our beloved franchise; Project Orion promises us more adventures ahead! Cyberpunk 2077 will expand on its star-studded cast with Phantom Liberty, adding Idris Elba as Solomon Reed – it’s so exciting to witness such untapped potential finally be realized! Phantom Liberty will bring with it numerous quality of life upgrades and gameplay mechanics – many of which can also be found in Update 2.0 of the base game – that are set to improve play experience significantly and earn rave reviews across social media channels. As such, Phantom Liberty stands to only become better over time! In fact, initial player feedback suggests its success already!
Reddit user simar6565 recently informed Redditors of Cyberpunk 2077’s accomplishment of surpassing 500,00 positive reviews on Steam; specifically 557,527 at time of writing. At release, IGN recommended players get refunds while PushSquare noted how unfinished it was due to numerous bugs and unforgivable crashing issues; clearly Cyberpunk 2077 has come a long way since release!
One Steam user recommended it after saying the game has improved greatly from its early days: “Has improved significantly since launch; would strongly advise picking it up now,” while another added: “It has greatly exceeded expectations since launch; easily one of my favourite games now!” One review said they loved everything about it: I can spend hours aimlessly wandering when bad weather arrives outside; NPC interactions, freedom and realness made this an instant classic; all within just the first hour or two alone… I could sit for hours playing this masterpiece; worth every penny spent. Masterpiece!”
Not to take away from Cyberpunk 2077 being released in such an incomplete state; but it is lovely seeing so many players enjoying experiencing what CDPR had originally intended with his vision for Phantom Liberty. Bring on Phantom Liberty!
