About XCOM: Apocalypse
X-COM: Apocalypse 3 is the third instalment in the X-COM videogame series. Apocalypse is similar to the previous two X-COM games. It features a map-like management system (the Cityscape), and an isometric combat system (the Battlescape).
Mega Primus is the management mode. It does not spread over the entire Earth-like in previous games. Apocalypse is the first game in the X-COM series that offers real-time combat as well as traditional turn-based gameplay.
Apocalypse has a new interface and graphics. It’s more complicated, and the task to maintain and increasing the funding for X-COM is now more difficult. This includes intercepting UFOs as well as minimizing collateral damage and preventing alien hostile takeovers.
