Overview of VTOL VR
VTOL VR, a virtual combat flight game that is very futuristic, was explicitly created for Virtual Reality. You can pilot advanced multi-role aircraft by using your hands to turn switches and press buttons. By taking on many challenges, you will be tested on your situational awareness, combat tactics, and flight skills. You don’t need any additional hardware. A VR set with track controllers will give you a virtual cockpit to reach out and touch the throttle and stick, flip switches, push buttons, and pull the eject lever if necessary. You will be immersed in action-packed combat missions, delicate vertical landings, and aerial refueling.
You can create and fly custom missions that you can share with other pilots using the built-in map editor and mission editor. This is my favorite VR game. Multiplayer has made a fantastic experience infinitely more accessible. This game is not just simple graphics. It has a lot of depth. Although it is not as deep as DCS’s full-fidelity modules, there are still plenty of things to do. My experience shows that almost everyone online wants to have fun and share this fantastic game. Ask questions even if everyone is shouting “Rifle” or “Fox 3” because this game is best enjoyed with friends.
VTOL VR Pre Installed
I was a DCS cuk. Then I discovered VR, and my bank balance is slowly recovering from the ridiculous amount of money I spent on flight sim gear. I no longer have nightmares about HOTAS and rudder pedals in my closet. I no longer worry about my stomach hanging out of my bed, fearing that $80 modules might come after me. This game is liberating in many ways. VTOL VR is the best mix of light-sim and 90s style (it simulates all major flight systems and mechanics of modern aircraft).
But it keeps the controls and situational awareness at an acceptable level of gameplay. It also combines VR mechanics with it to provide unchallenged immersion. You don’t have to reach for your keyboard as in other sims. The editor is great. I only wish there was a dedicated server so we could host 24/7 multiplayer wars like in DCS. Even with the current tools, you can create a mission in minutes or hours. It’s very intuitive.
