Nintendo announced the news on YouTube. Metroid Prime4fans will no question recall the pain of the last development update.
Eiji Aonuma, a Zelda series producer, told fans that the team had “decided to extend the development time” and changed the release date to 2023.
Aonuma stated, “for those of you who had been waiting for a release this summer, I apologize.” He also shared some brand-new footage that teased an “expanded universe” and “brand new features,” which took the sting out even more of the news. We might feel a little better after he announced The Wind Waker for Switch, jsyk.
Aonuma concluded: “To make this game’s experience special, the whole development team is continuing to work diligently on it – so please take a bit longer.”
