It’s official: Bungie is acquired by Sony in a $3.7 Billion deal It’s done — Sony has signed its agreement to acquire Bungie. The Destiny studio will now be an official member of the PlayStation team. The acquisition was announced in January. Sony completed the transaction with a $3.7 million price tag. Both Bungie and Sony made their announcements via the usual social media channels. The numbers may seem slightly different from what you originally heard.
