Steelrising: The Best Weapons and Builds Guide
Steelrising by Spiders allows you to control the Aegis clockwork automaton in a fantasy-inspired revolution France. You have to stop the marching of evil machines that will kill any soldier who crosses their path. These enemies are relentless and hard hitting in this alternate history soulslike. You’ll need to learn how to stop them. We will show you how to build each of the three archetypes that increase your effectiveness. The builds here are designed to maximize their effectiveness starting at the beginning of the game or as soon as possible.
Power Build
Power has the simplest and easiest build in Steelrising. You can build Power-type weapons right from the start to take down your enemies. You can choose any of the heavy weapons at the start of the game, but the Gribeauval Halberd from the “Soldier’ background will provide the best coverage. You will be able to use this weapon even late in the game if you have the Charleville 1789 Shield Musket as your primary weapon. As long as you keep upgrading your weapons, this combination will last you most of the game.
You should focus on Power, Vigour, and Durability when looking at stats. A high power level will enable you to hit harder, knock down enemies more easily with power attacks, and a high Vigour bar will give you an increased Endurance Energy that will allow you dodge attacks and launch them yourself. A Power-based build will get the most benefit from Durability. It gives you more raw health which allows you stay alive longer and can make big swings with heavy weapons.
However, armor Aegis should focus on increasing the armor value to mitigate damage. Other secondary stats don’t really matter when you have a power build. Most enemies will be crushed by your powerful weapons in just a few hits. Charged-up power strikes will knock down most enemies, leaving them open to powerful follow-ups. This is why damage mitigation is so important, especially if you have a huge HP bar.
Your module slots should be devoted to improving attack power, health, and Anima. Anima is used to upgrade any Aegis item. This will allow you to keep heavy weapons hitting the ground with frequent upgrades. Health and attack power are important stats for Power builds. You will find modules like Efficient Charging to increase charged attack power, Longevity to boost base HP, and Avarice to increase Anima gains in the first level. Upgrades can be found in the Boutiques at the various upgrade hubs around the world.
The Flame Orb, which can do additional fire damage, the Wheel of Vengeance, if you prefer to parry, or the Body of Work, if your preference is strong blocking, are all alternatives to the weapon loadouts. Alternate modules include Endurance modules to increase your base Endurance meters, but Power build are best to use modules that boost Aegis’ stats when she is sick like Fight or Flight modules. It is significant that she will be able to increase her damage when using heavy weapons, but it will require skill.
Agility builds
Agility is a build that emphasizes positioning, dodging and combo attacks. Armor Aegis equipments should be able to block elemental status effects. Agility is a primary build. You don’t want your Agility to cause you to become Frozen or Burned and take huge damage. Also, resist vials shouldn’t be too many to protect you against any kind of enemy. You can check your armour to increase your elemental resistance and then use it. This will let you free up inventory for Endurance vials and grenades that can increase the effectiveness of your build. It grants unlimited Endurance meter, which allows you to maximize its effectiveness.
You should be looking out for modules that increase your Endurance and Immobilisation, as well as those that provide ventilation to help you get rid of excess Endurance meter. Alchemy Build
Alchemy combines power and agility, combining them with elemental afflictions in order to eliminate anything that stands in your way. This build is the most difficult to master, since most weapons require that you use an attack to recharge their elemental powers. Weapons dealing elemental damage will not be possible without this attack. The best example of this principle is the Glass Batons from the “Alchemy”, but the best build uses the Gribeauval Halberd from the “Soldier”. It is a unique weapon that can quickly dispatch enemies after you have obtained the Charleville 1789 Shield Musket, Saint Cloud. This weapon can knock down enemies and allow you to fire your guns and grenades at them.
This build is focused on Power, Engineering, and Elemental Alchemy. Because the Alchemy build is focused on Aegis’ ammunition, Alchemical Capsule. Combinations like these are dangerous as you can launch an attack to freeze your enemy with your gun and then move in with a large combo of grenades. Grenades, and other Alchemy weapons, will enable you to place lasting debuffs on your enemy. The Gribeauval Halberd is a great tool to push back enemies or knock them down in a pinch. You can also use the Gribeauval Halberd to take control of your offense and deliver devastating blows against frozen enemies.
