Release Date for ‘Resident Evil 4,’ Remake
Capcom’s eagerly awaited remake of 2005’s iconic Resident Evil 4 was finally released. This was revealed at the State of Play presentation on June 2.
The action-adventure title was a massive success on the Nintendo GameCube and PlayStation 2. Capcom had already released a well-received remake of Resident Evil 2. A more mixed Resident Evil 3 and a remake so many years back were natural choices. Here it is.
The trailer shows that Capcom has set March 2023 as the release date of the next Capcom remake of its iconic zombie series. To be precise, March 24, 2023. It is targeted at PlayStation 5 – PS4 owners. There is no immediate word about previous-gen compatibility. There are also mentions of virtual reality elements. It is not yet known if this will be a PlayStation exclusive. Most likely not.
Capcom also revealed a PSVR2 version for Resident Evil Village without a specific release date. Are you excited about the new-gen Resi4? Yes, we said it didn’t need a remake, but what do you know?
