Red Dead Redemption 2 modder introduces Yakuza-style brawling styles into the wild west.
Many of the community had a funeral for Red Dead Redemption II’s online component. However, modders seem to have preserved the single-player experience.
These brave modders are still fighting for Rockstar’s wild west adventure, with massive mods such as a massive overhaul to the game’s economy.
A new mod’s pugilistic presence has shown that they are still very excited about fighting in the game.
You are ready to kick some bottom at your next saloon slugfest
This mod is called Brawling Style Switcher and was created by 14-N001st. He’s decided to make this their first mod to help you beat the tar from as many partners.
Using your keyboard’s function keys or Numpad, you can use the mod to switch between five hand-to-hand combat styles. This allows you to change your fighting stance at will, depending on what situation you find yourself in.
What are the five styles available?
The first option is obvious. It’s Arthur’s default stance. However, option two adds an interesting twist. You can fight like you’re trying to cross snow, regardless of whether Colter is on your outskirts or in the middle of the New Austin desert.
The third style on the list is called ‘bruiser’. This suggests that it may be for larger characters that you must fight at certain points of the game. Tommy defends Valentine’s saloon in the mission ‘Americans at rest’.
These two styles allow you to recreate the game’s final moments. You can use either Arthur’s or Micah’s stances from Beaver Hollow to practice your dance moves.
