PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Games for July 2022 Leaked
Sony launched the new PlayStation Plus tiers in June. PS Plus Essential acts like a regular service, while Premium and Extra have a large library of games that can be downloaded or streamed to the cloud. Premium also includes a number of retro games, which is always a nice addition. After the launch, there was naturally interest in what Sony would bring next to the service. According to, a rumour on ResetEra that was spotted by Push square, the next round of games promises to be great.
This leak is from BlackBate, a user who uses ResetEra and has proven to be accurate when it comes to leaking announcements before their time. This is despite the fact that there have been no announcements. It’s important to take this information with a grain of salt. BlackBate mentions Stray First, which has been confirmed to launch on PS Plus Extra, Premium and the following titles are still to be announced.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade + Episode InTERmission
– Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
Assassin’s Creed Unity
– Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry
Assassin’s Creed: Ezio Collection
Saints Row IV: Reelected
It makes sense that Ubisoft+ will be added to PS Plus Extra and Premium, as both subscriptions include Ubisoft+. BlackBate suggests that these games will be released on the same date as Stray’s July 19th release date. However, these aren’t the only games dropping that day. We may see Sony reaching into their PS1, PS2, PS3 or PSP libraries to find more retro games, given that there are no retro games mentioned for the Premium Tier.
