Elden Ring is home to many terrifying creatures. The creepy Pests that roam the Sellia Crystal Tunnel and cause nightmares, as well as Caelid’s monstrous dogs – FromSoftware’s open world title, might not be horror games, but some of its designs could have easily been taken straight from a horror movie.

Just when you thought the Lands Between could not get more sinister, a fan-made Unity project added a formidable foe to the game as its boss. You’ll have seen the headline – it’s Pingu! Everyone’s favourite claymation penguin raises his flipper and strikes down Tarnished in one blow.

VG247 wrote that this piece of art was partly inspired by a remix of Mozart’s “Lacrimosa”, made to sound like Dark Souls boss song. This was done after the Pingu meme, circulating online lately, was ominously looking. The internet is beautiful.

This is not a mod that you can download and try for yourself. However, there’s no doubt someone out there will work to make this dream come true now that the video is available. Many sanitized Elden Ring mods are waiting to be discovered.
