Klei Entertainment published Oxygen Not Included, a survival video game. The player can direct the colonists to do specific tasks such as growing food, mining for resources, crafting equipment and researching new technologies. They also need to maintain their health through nutrition, rest and hygiene. The player doesn’t directly control the colonists but instead gives prioritized instructions that the colonists will follow to the best of their ability. The player may order a wire conduit to be constructed.
This will require the colonists to gather the necessary materials, remove debris from the path and construct the wire. The colonists will not be able to access copper for the wire if they cannot do so. Instead, they will continue with other tasks. Colonists can use stats to determine their effectiveness at specific tasks and prioritize the tasks they excel at. This can be done by practising and improving the skills of colonists.
