Nuclear Throne by Vlambeer is a top-down shooter roguelike videogame. There are two game modes available: single-player and local cooperative. The game features daily and weekly challenge modes that allow the player to compete with other players on Steam for the highest score.
This is determined by how many kills the player has achieved in a play-through, as well as the level’s randomly generated levels. One of the 12 characters that the player can control is their character.
Ten of these characters must be unlocked by play. Additional secret characters cannot be played except in very specific circumstances. Each character has a unique ability that adds an extra element to the game.
