Nintendo will hold a 30-Minute Splatoon III Direct this Week.
Nintendo is asking us to get up early to learn about its games. The company announced plans to host a Splatoon3Direct showcase this week. It will be the first time the demo will be available within American business hours.
This news comes via an announcement posted on Nintendo’s social media channels. It states that it will hold a Splatoon3Nintendo Direct stream on Wednesday, August 10, at 6 a.m. Pacific/9:00 a.m. Eastern. It is expected that the presentation will last around 30 minutes. This means that fans will get a detailed update about the new game.
Splatoon3 will launch on Switch on September 9. The stream is expected to be available as we are just a month away. Nintendo also plans to release the Splatoon3 Switch console. However, considering the unnecessary money investment a new system will require, I wish Nintendo would allow me to buy the sick joy-con controls it comes along with. Joy-con drift is a phenomenon that controllers register input on analog sticks but not the other way around. The white ones I bought with my OLED Switch last summer had issues, and I could use replacements.
Nintendo claims it is working to address the issue but also states that this is an inevitable truth that all joy-cons will experience at one point. Nintendo has not yet indicated any plans to sell the controllers individually, as is the usual practice when Nintendo releases new Switch consoles. It’s unlikely that this will change during the Splatoon 3 showcase. This seems to me like money being left on the table.
