Need For Speed: Undercover free game for windows Update Jan 2022
Undercover: What’s the Speed?
Need for Speed: Undercover is one of the most loved racing games. The game was released in 2008 but is still very much loved by players. EA Black Box is the game’s developer. Electronic Arts are our publishing division.
It is compatible with both consoles as well as PCs. The game can be played on PS3, PS2, Nintendo DS and PlayStation Portable. It also works well on Windows. Later in 2009, the makers released a mobile version of this game. It’s supported on both the android and ios platforms.
This game features illegal street races in the fictional Tri-City Area. The story is about an undercover officer investigating the links between street racers and criminal syndicates. The gameplay is nearly the same as previous games. The game’s developers did not make any changes.
This instalment however comes with a wider range of real-world cars. In the main story mode, there will be an RPG-styled system. The game received mixed reviews despite all its positive aspects. Many complained that the game had repetitive elements.
Gameplay
The gameplay is simple. If you’ve played previous Need for Speed games you will already be familiar with the game’s mechanics. It is the 12th instalment of the series. This doesn’t make any significant changes to the gameplay. This is why it didn’t make an impact.
Players are required to take part in illegal street races. There are many different types of races available and you can choose from a wide range of real-world cars. You can customize any of the available cars to your liking.
Point-to-point, checkpoint and standard circuit races are all part of the racing events. There are also new events. An outrun is a new event that requires players to beat their rivals in a race and overtake them within the time limit. Highway Battle is another event in which players must stay ahead of their opponents while fighting local traffic.
Like all previous instalments, Undercover also features multiple game modes. These include career, multiplayer, single event, and multiple game modes. Wii and PlayStation gamers get the Challenge series, an additional mode.
The game has many maps and players can select any event that interests them. There are four categories for a large number of real-world cars: tuner, sports muscle, exotic, and muscle. You will have limited cars when you start your career. After defeating criminals, you will be able to get more cars.
After unlocking the police cars in the main mode, PS2 and Nintendo DS players can now use them. There are slight differences between platforms for the multiplayer mode. Mobile phones do not support multiplayer mode.
Online multiplayer is also available, allowing players to take part in various events. These include sprint racing, highway battle and team-based events like Cops and Robbers. Two teams will compete in the team-based round. They will do so over two rounds. You also have access to many other special events.
