FIFA 23 is close! We’ve just had our first cover star reveal, and it’s historic!
Sam Kerr will be FIFA’s first female cover star.
The Australian will join Kylian Mbappe from France, who will make his third appearance on the Ultimate Edition FIFA 23.
Mbappe was confirmed cover star of FIFA 23. Kerr graces another cover. This means that there are two standard edition covers for the game.
This is the first time the Frenchman has had three solo covers in one row – it’s a first for this series.
It is an excellent move by Kerr and the franchise to feature Kerr on the front. This shows how much the women’s game is becoming popular across Europe after being so popular in the USA.
This is also confirmation of the addition of new leagues to the game. Many women’s teams are significant additions to this year’s FIFA23.
FIFA’s Cover Star is often a high-rated player, and Sam Kerr’s appearance at the front of the magazine indicates. Even if she’s not the highest-rated player, the forward for Australia and Chelsea will be.
