LA Knight makes a SmackDown debut with a new ring name
LA Knight, a former NXT star, made his official debut on the main roster last night under Max Dupri. Adam Pearce was approached by the newcomer who claimed he was looking for Maximum Male Models, his new stable. Dupri corrected Pearce’s pronunciation.
WWE has rebranded LA Knight as WWE, which is no surprise considering that he was given this name by WWE when he first arrived on the black-and-gold brand. It wasn’t Vince’s decision so it must be redacted.
Max Dupri is well-known for his role in dark matches. He manages Mace and Mansoor, who both have a new style and an air of arrogance because of Dupri’s influence. It will be up to fate whether this new faction is successful or not. As of now, Max Dupri appears to be a slight devaluation of former LA Knight’s talents, but we’ll be watching to see what happens.
