Some people consider it the one with the most interesting backstory or the best visuals. Others find it the one that spends less time trying to squash their hopes of getting further in the game.
Hidetaka Miyazaki is often the main culprit behind games like Elden Ring. Radahn has now been revealed as the answer.
Elden Ring’s Miyazaki Confirms That Radahn is His Favorite Boss
The director confirmed this via an interview with Xbox Wire Japan. He said that Redmane Castle is his favorite boss.
Miyazaki also mentioned that no one on his team took the Radahn Festival idea seriously when it was first proposed. He added that Godrick the Grafted and Rykard were the runners-up in the battle for his affections.
The director stated that Elden Ring was a huge hit and was very happy with the results. He also said that the game’s success makes him feel “luckier” to be able to make games.
Miyazaki does not anticipate that this success will change FromSoftware’s ethos in making games. He said: “We have always made games we believe are interesting. We will continue doing so in the future.”
He also shared some of the open-world games that inspired the idea for Elden Ring. Name dropping the Elder Scrolls, The Witcher 3, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
A little technical insight was also offered into the making Elden Ring. Miyazaki revealed that the location of the main bosses was determined at the beginning of the map design stage. She also shared some interesting tidbits regarding the war ash system and the design of summoning spirits.
