The End of the World
Doom is a 1993 first-person shooter (FPS) video game developed by id Software. The player controls a space marine, later called the Doomguy, through a series of levels on military bases on Mars and Hell. The player must complete a level by traversing the area until they reach an exit room. The groups are divided into episodes. The final class will focus on a boss battle with a brutal enemy. The levels are 3D, but enemies and objects can be viewed differently. This is sometimes called 2.5D graphics. A full-screen automap shows all areas that have been explored, which is often used for labyrinthine levels.
