What’s Divinity: Original Sin II all about?
Rivellon is the setting for the game, a fictional place that was centuries after the events surrounding Divinity’s original sin. Living beings in this land are blessed with a form of mystical energy called Source. Sourcers are people who can draw power from Source to enhance their combat skills or cast spells to defeat their enemies?
The seven gods from Rivellon had gathered to share a portion of their collective power with Lucian. Lucian, also known as the Divine was able to keep the veil that separated the spheres of Rivellon and the void from falling.
Lucian, who was also known as the Divine, dies just before the game starts, breaking the veil between the worlds. In the end, the Void allowed giant, devilish characters to enter Rivellon’s world, causing war and destruction. Their dark deity is the God-King. An organization called the Divine order was created to prosecute Sorcerors in order to get rid of these Voidwokens.
The divine order will capture any of the Sourcerers, and players can play as them. They will be exiled from Rivellon and taken to Fort Joy, an island prison. A group of Voidwokens will attack the ship and sink it. However, the player character will survive and continue to play the game.
Gameplay
You will be amazed at how fluid Original Sin II is once you get started. It’s very lifelike and alive. The game offers many options for customization, storyline, gameplay, character, and customization. The game is never boring, no matter how many times it’s played.
You can play the game solo or in a multiplayer cooperative mode. The game features several pre-made characters with backstories.
Players have the option to create their own character and add specific details such as gender, race, origin, or status. Before they start the game, players can recreate any of the available characters.
Players can select up to three people to assist them in creating the character they choose. Companions can be played in any way they like and each one has its own potential. Each character interacts with the environment in a unique way. They also have different abilities.
This game features complex combat mechanics as well as role-playing opportunities. Players can split up their party members and manage them individually.
A skill crafting system allows players to mix and match their skills, or even trade. Another interesting feature is the competitive play mode. This mode allows players to split into two teams and compete against each other on an arena map.
