Overview of the Bugsnax game:
Players play the role of a newspaper reporter who receives a film strip from Lizbert Megafig, an explorer and disgraced, in the mail. Lizbert describes the mysterious Snaktooth island, which is home to creatures called Bugsnax. She encourages the reporter visits the island to document the creatures for the rest of the world. The reporter is intrigued and makes her way to the island. However, Bilbo Fiddlepie, Lizbert’s assistant, tells him that Lizbert has disappeared and that all her Grumpuses who were with her on her expedition have fled. Bilbo asks the journalist to help him bring the others to their temporary home in Snaxburg, so they can band together to find out what happened.
Bugsnax will take you on a fun adventure to Snaktooth Island. This is the home of Bugsnax, a legendary half-bug, half-snack creature. Elizabeth Megafig invites you to join her expedition. You arrive to find your host gone, her camp in disarray, and her followers scattered all over the island, hungry and alone. You have to unravel the mysteries of Snaktooth island: Where is Lizbert? Where does Bugsnax come from? They taste so good, but that’s not the most important thing.
