After receiving abusive comments, Monkey Island director will no longer post about the game

Ron Gilbert, the director of the highly anticipated Return to Monkey Island has announced that he won’t be updating the game on his blog after a series of personal attack comments.

Many of these comments seem to stem from the game’s new graphical and artistic style. This has been controversial among some hardcore fans.

Unfortunately, many people have gone too far in criticizing others. Gilbert said that “the joy of sharing is gone from me”.
