About Empires: Dawn of the Modern World
Empires: Dawn of the Modern World, a 2003 video game that uses real-time strategy (RTS), where the player leads a civilization through five historical periods. These include the Middle Ages and World War II. The player gathers natural resources, builds buildings, trains, and maintains an army, as in other RTS games. Hotkeys or a mouse cursor interface allow players to control their units. These include crossbowmen and King Tiger tanks. A three-dimensional (3D) camera system allows the player to view the action from any angle, including isometric. [4][6] Also included is a mini-map.
