The game is designed to complete the gap between Hobbit as well as The Lord of the Rings. The story is one of murder, revenge and intrigue that takes place entirely within Mordor which is the Land of Shadows. The central character is Talion An ordinary person who suffers loss of everything, even his own existence. In the presence of an extremely strong wraith Talion transforms into a ghost, returning from the dead to take revenge on the murder of his parents. In the meantime, the wraith within Talion, Celebrimbor, struggles to find his lost past that will enable Talion to grow in strength.
