If you cross an invisible line on a stage, enemies will not spawn or advance towards your position. To strike your enemies, keep to the left and attack them one at a time until they are gone. While you are hammering their comrades, some enemies will stand by and wait for their turn. With a simple jab, you can stun all enemies, even bosses. Your special move can get rid of enemies who crowd you. Although the forward special is excellent against bosses, it is not recommended for regular enemies. As you recover in a noisy room, it leaves you too vulnerable to other enemies. A sword-wielding enemy will greet you when you reach the third screen on the streets.
